Like every year, we'll gather together at the columbarium to pay respect to our ancestors. My grandpa & my great-grandparents's tablets are placed next to each other so we can pray to them at the same time.
We're meeting there at 2pm today, so at around 1.30pm laling drive us there. Glad to say that the weather is nice, unlike last year it rain heavily. Everyone was there by the time we reach, first time we do is to pay respect to our ancestors. Then i go help out by folding paper golds for them to burn later, baobei play with cousin Issac & Gwen. Baobei is alot more friendlier than before, last time he's a loner but now after attendin sch he'll tends to interacte with other kids more. Which is a good thing of cos, last time i very paisey cos whenever my cousin's kids wanna play with baobei, he sure cry out loud ... pengz
After folding, we had lunch .. every year my ah ma or guma will cook rice & bee hon for us to eat. We'll have to wait until our ancestors to finish their food before we can burn things to them. So during the time that they're enjoying their food, we'll group together to gossip, chat chat ... etc. Today brother is in 'teaching' mood, haha cos he's teaching the kids numbers & how to Hi5 etc .. They're all playing happily. Laling will join the men to have men's talk while the 38 aunties will share juicy news with one another.
At 4.15pm sharp, we start to carry all the papers stuffs down to burn. After which we will divide the food that our ancestors have eaten to everybody. Thats when the thunder sound started .. oh my, luckily the rain didnt come & we manage to leave the place without getting wet. Went to mummy's place after that, had to go ntuc to buy ingredients to cook tml ... ... Had dinner at mummy's place, left at 9pm .. Very tired after a whole day of walking, haa so sleep after bathing. Zzzz ~
