Baobei & i went over to panjang this afternoon as laling will be coming back late due to his yearly appraisal that will be held this evening. Becos its raining, we took a cab over. And something very frustrating happen, to be frank i dont blame the taxi uncle for being not familiar with the route in west area BUT at the very least he should have ask me which way to go!
After getting in the cab, i told the uncle that i wanna go panjang by BKE. He didnt say he dont instead he answer ok, sure. So assuming he know the way, i didnt give any farther instruction. But when he took the lane going to PIE i felt strange cos he should have go straight all the way until Woodlands exit. Thinking he might wanna earn extra cash i kept quiet but when he didnt turn out to bukit batok exit i BTH liao so i asked him, uncle where are u going? U have missed 2 turns already! He did apologise and so i told him if we've stick to BKE we should have reach panjang by now. Knowing its his fault he told me that i can pay at the normal price which normally is charged at. Thats fine with me, cos by the time i finally reached panjang the meter is showing $15 which is double of the normal fare. U know y, cos he again missed another 2 more exits .. In total he missed 4 exits which can get us to panjang!!!!! From jurong to toh guan then to bt timah, bangkit & finally woodlans exit =.="
Complain to mom when i reached, lucky the uncle is really those who dont the route and kept apologising orelse u see i'll complain to TIBS anot la. Can only consider myself suay lorr ~ Baobei is very guai today, play w/o quarrelling or shouting. Mom and i bring to shop & save in the evening, buy fruits for tml praying. Had dinner at mom's place, baobei ate a full bowl of rice .. Haa big boy liao! Laling got home at 8plus, said he'll bath then had late dinner before coming over to fetch us. Phone brother and ask hows today training etc .. miss him lots sia. Cant wait to see him on the 28th ~ * 12 more days to go *
