We plan on going to IMM this afternoon, to repair the mini DVD player but our prince is suddenly down with fever. As usual, morning bath and fed him milk, everything seem normal he dun look sick too. Call it sixth sense or mother instincts, i felt the need to touch his forehead. It felt warm and after taking his temperature it read, 37.5 ..
Gave him the 1st dose of fever medicine, hoping it will go down but after an hour or so not only the fever didnt went down, it rise to 38.7 degree. Laling and i took him to the clinic, sad to say due to weekends the normal GP that we used to find isnt on duty. Instead a young and 'buay zai' doc is on duty. He's young and seem inexprience .. sianz
Anyway the doc conclude that Baobei has kana virus. Nothing much to worry about though cos he's still active. But at that moment, i only believe 70% of what he says, haha .. And he's reali a 'buay zai' doc, why i say that? Becos all along our GP gave baobei a 4ml dose of fever med, and this kuku prescribe 2.5ml nia. I ask the nurse and she says maybe this doc young so more of a cautious. But i was like, huh .. my child is growing each day and yet the dose given is lesser than he should had ~ *pengz*
Poor boy, fever kept staying at 38 degree. After much tries, he finally agree to play with me. I wanted to let him sweat and let his temperature go down and it worked! After sweating, he too felt alot better. Tml morning, mummy will be coming over to help. Cos im sure tonite baobei and i wont have a good nite sleep de ..
Juz hope that his fever will go away .. And he will recover ASAP ~
